Michael (Morty) Mortenson is a long established resident of Southwest Florida since the 1980’s. He moved to Naples from Canton, Ohio with his wife Sharie and their two children. His son, Denver, is 20 years old and completing his 2nd year at Florida State. His daughter, Darby, is 18 and soon to enter University of Central Florida. A lot has changed since his family moved here; Goodlette-Frank Rd. was a single lane gravel road, as he recalls! In his spare time, Michael enjoys golfing and supporting the Ft. Myers Miracle and Florida Everblades.
Michael has enjoyed a rewarding career in food and beverage while Florida grew and grew. He has felt privileged to work for such fine establishments as The Ritz-Carlton on Vanderbilt Beach, Tween Waters Inn on Captiva Island, and for the last 19 years, at The Lazy Flamingo on Sanibel Island. He loves connecting with people and looks forward to helping buyers find their perfect home in our paradise!
